Racial Justice Mission Group and COLLAGE are co-sponsoring a viewing of Rustin right after worship service on Sunday, February 25 in Syster Hall.
The movie tells the story of Bayard Rustin who orchestrated the 1963 March on Washington. He faced racism and homophobia as part of his participation in Civil Rights.
A light lunch will be served and discussion will follow the film.

In partnership with the League of Women Voters, a non-partisan group, the RJMG and COLLAGE invites the congregation to write postcards to ex-felons to help them get their voting rights restored. Â Materials will be provided by the LWV, represented by church member Carol Resignio, a member of the League.

During the lunch we will share stories about the women who have left fingerprints upon our hearts and how each have shaped our lives. This will be a holy time.
