COLLAGE Sunday Luncheon

COLLAGE will have a luncheon meeting on the second Sundays of each month in the Oasis Center immediately following the 11 o'clock service.  We will have a free box lunch, so please RSVP to Sara Little below in order to know how many lunches to order.  Please indicate if you have food allergies.  We will try to accommodate them.

Donations are welcome to offset next month's lunch costs.

First Congregational United Church of Christ’s COLLAGE group invites you to a special event taking place at 12:30 pm on Sunday, February 11th. in Syster Hall. Enjoy a light lunch on us!

We’re excited to have Gina Duncan, nationally recognized speaker and director from TransAction Florida, as our guest speaker.

COLLAGE is First Congregational’s LGBTQ+ open and affirming group. This event includes not just a complementary light lunch, but much food for thought – a real growth and learning opportunity. Don’t miss out on this truly special event! Join us! For questions, please call John Ristow.

Viewing of the Movie “Rustin”

Racial Justice Mission Group and COLLAGE are co-sponsoring a viewing of Rustin right after worship service on Sunday, February 25 in Syster Hall.
The movie tells the story of Bayard Rustin who orchestrated the 1963 March on Washington. He faced racism and homophobia as part of his participation in Civil Rights.
A light lunch will be served and discussion will follow the film.

Postcards to Ex-Felons Voting Project

In partnership with the League of Women Voters, a non-partisan group, the RJMG and COLLAGE invites the congregation to write postcards to ex-felons to help them get their voting rights restored.  Materials will be provided by the LWV, represented by church member Carol Resignio, a member of the League.
