Artful Prayer

Artful Prayer ~ November 14th @ 2 p.m. ~ Reed Chapel ~ In-Person Only

This hybrid workshop, “Singing that Builds Community” led by Greg Chestnut, invites us to reconnect with singing as generations before us have done. In ancient times, congregational songs and folk hymns were led without printed music in the hands of the singer. Singing “by ear” can become a powerful spiritual practice as we explore themes of prayer, justice, nature, healing, hope, and community. Join with others as we create and engage in ways to contribute to our common life through song.
