At Christmas and Easter we invite the congregation to participate in a Love Offering. Christmas Love supports local charities and Easter Love supports national and international charities as well as the UCC church to keep us a 5 for 5 church. Being 5 for 5 means that our church is a leader, providing support to Our Church’s Wider Mission and the Special Mission Offerings: One Great Hour of Sharing, Strengthen The Church, Neighbors In Need and The Christmas Fund.

The Mission Team has turned its attention to Easter and the upcoming Easter Love Offering. We kept our covenants and our core values in mind as we made our selections. Easter is the time we send love and caring to our neighbors all over the Globe.

We have researched these organizations to ensure your dollars are spent wisely. Please give generously.

During the Christmas Love fundraiser, our focus is on supporting local charities. We select organizations aligned with our three covenants: Racial Justice, Open and Affirming, and Creation Justice as well as several non-profit organizations dedicated to helping our neighbors in need.

We strive to stay connected with each charity to understand their evolving needs and programs, as our community’s needs continue to grow. In 2023, our goal was set at $20,000.

Beyond our main fundraisers at Christmas and Easter, we actively engage in supporting local charities throughout the year.  Last year, thanks to the dedication and generosity of our members, we raised over $40,000 for vital community initiatives.
