At First Congregational United Church of Christ Sarasota, we’re passionate about addressing food insecurity and hunger in our community and beyond. Our Food and Hunger group is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those facing hunger and food insecurity.

Every month, we join hands with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to serve a community meal for the homeless, providing nourishment and companionship to those in need.  We actively collect food donations for All Faiths Food Bank, ensuring that families facing hunger have access to nutritious meals.

But our commitment to ending hunger doesn’t stop there. We’re proud supporters of Bread for the World, an organization dedicated to advocating for policies that address hunger and poverty on a global scale. Through our partnership with Bread for the World, we’re working towards a future where no one has to go hungry.

If you share our passion for ending hunger and want to make a difference in the lives of those in need, we invite you to join us. Together, we can create a world where everyone has access to the food they need to thrive.
