Tuesday, November 5, 2024, First UCC Women welcome Yvonne Lefebre, Awareness Coordinator for Selah Freedom in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. All are welcome. We will begin with registration at 11:30 am in Syster Hall, followed by lunch ($15) at 12 noon and our program at 12:30.
First UCC Women has been in existence since 1954. All women and men of the church are welcome and encouraged to join us on the first Tuesday of each month, October through May, in Syster Hall for fellowship, lunch and program. Programs are on varied topics. We select various non profits to come and share with us what they are about. An annual favorite is the December meeting where we fill and wrap shoeboxes for seniors.

The FCC Women’s Association invites everyone to a special program on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, featuring Silvia Perez, Senior Staff Member of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), and Giselle Ramirez, Campaign Coordinator and Translator.
Silvia will provide an overview of the CIW’s history, victories in the Campaign for Fair Food, and updates on the fight for farm worker human rights today.
