This vital service in our community has open doors for all folks in need without regard to race, creed, age, housing status, citizenship status, sexual orientation or ability to pay. Come join us to learn more about how we can live our Covenants by supporting these vitally needed services.

The National Council of Jewish Women Sarasota-Manatee along with Brady Sarasota present Po Murray, cofounder and chairperson of the Newtown Action Alliance. Po will speak at our church on the topic of gun violence protection since Sandy Hook. She is the mother of 4 children and was a neighbor of the Sandy Hook School shooter in Newtown, Connecticut. She will tell us about all of the work this amazing organization has been doing the last 10 years and their plans for the next 10 years to try to keep our communities safe.

The SURE (Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity) Community Problems Assembly has been rescheduled for November 18 at 6 p.m. at Pine Shores Presbyterian (6135 Beechwood Ave, Sarasota).
First UCC Women has been in existence since 1954. All women and men of the church are welcome and encouraged to join us on the first Tuesday of each month, October through May, in Syster Hall for fellowship, lunch and program. Programs are on varied topics. We select various non profits to come and share with us what they are about. An annual favorite is the December meeting where we fill and wrap shoeboxes for seniors.Â
