Food Drive, December 11th – The need is great!
In honor of our 2022 Christmas Love offering, our Women’s Association is sponsoring a food drive to benefit Second Chance Last Opportunity, the crisis intervention and education center in Newtown. On Sunday, December 11th, we will FILL THE SUV’s! Lucy Hedrick and George Handley will have their car trunks open before and after both services. Here is what we need:
• Non-perishable canned goods with flip-top lids (no water nor heating required): soups, pastas, Vienna sausages, canned veggies, canned fruits, NO PEANUT BUTTER
• Cases of bottled water
• Personal hygiene items, e.g.—toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, bar soap
Your contributions will go a long way to replenishing the shelves at Second Chance. Please do not leave your donations at the church before December 11th. Questions: Call Lucy Hedrick at 203-561-9590.
