F.E.A.S.T. – Finding Stillness in Movement

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Thursday, happening 4 times
These four sessions will introduce participants to ancient practices of meditation through movement. Quieting our minds has become more difficult in the busyness of our lives. So many distractions are available with thousands of streaming TV and internet and music channels. It is easy to snap on a device and escape. But what if you could find a practice, an art that allowed you to find stillness in movement? Would you give it a try? Here is your chance. Come experience these ancient practices: Yoga from India; Qi Gong and Tai Chi from China; and prayer walking from Greece. (Comfortable clothes and footwear recommended).

We will begin at 10:30am in Syster Hall with coffee and conversation. At 11am we will move to class.
