About the Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a heartwarming initiative where members gather to knit and crochet shawls imbued with prayers and blessings. These shawls are distributed to individuals facing life’s challenges, providing them with comfort and a tangible reminder of our community’s support. Meeting monthly in each other’s homes, participants share fellowship, knitting tips, and the joy of creating something meaningful. The Lay Visitation Group ensures these shawls reach those who need them most, extending the caring embrace of our congregation to shut-ins, church members, and the wider community.
