Sheltering God, we pray for You to protect and be with all who have been impacted by the hurricane this week.Β We pray for those whose homes are destroyed and businesses flooded.Β We pray for those without power, afraid, and whose lives are turned upside down.Β We pray for us to let Your love be poured out on our neighbors here in Florida as we deal with another hurricane this week.Β Be with those working to restore power, staffing and living in shelters, and rescuing people who are stranded.Β Gracious God continue to be with us in the days to come as we pick up the pieces.Β Grant us Your strength that sustains and Your love that makes us whole.Β In the name of the One who is with us always, Jesus the Christ.
